Tourism NT is a Northern Territory Government statutory authority responsible for promoting the Northern Territory (NT) as a unique holiday destination. Tourism NT’s role is to market the NT as a desirable visitor destination and facilitate the sustainable growth of the tourism industry in the NT. Darwin and Alice Springs are the two major gateways. The capital Darwin in the tropical Top End of Australia is a great base for exploring Kakadu National Park. Further south in the Red Centre, Alice Springs is the gateway to iconic Uluru (Ayers Rock) located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
